A Dishwasher meets a mysterious woman named Eden. She asks him a question that sounds simple enough: Does life happen to you, or for you?

Notes

Jack Smith creator 20 Sep 2026

Great use of style, not only visual but temporal and directional. Holding some parallel shots to the wall as it enters the frame is very interesting. How the sound, the movement, and the reframing happen using the camera tilting up to the ceiling, the direction met the style and matched the storytelling. It was very good.
