The extension & the bookmarklet
Put the verdict on YouTube itself. The Chrome extension adds a small popcorn.movie panel on every watch page: slop-or-not on any video, the live consensus if it's on the site, and “Add to popcorn.movie” when it's a film.
Chrome extension
Coming to the Chrome Web Store. Until the listing is live, install it in about a minute:
Download the extension (.zip, 15 KB)
- Unzip it, you get a popcornmovie-extension folder.
- Open chrome://extensions, switch on Developer mode (top right).
- Click Load unpacked and pick that folder.
Sign in on popcorn.movie once and the extension picks up your session, no separate login. What it sends when you act: the video id, your verdict, and how much you watched. Nothing else.
Bookmarklet (Firefox, Safari, everyone else)
Drag this to your bookmarks bar; click it on any YouTube watch page:
It opens the add flow in a popup with the video pre-filled. Same questions, same review queue.
