ลูกผมก็เป็นนักบินกองทัพอากาศรุ่นสุดท้ายที่จบที่ดอนเมือง กว่าจะสอบติดเตรียมทหาร กว่าจะผ่าน 3 ปีเตรียมทหาร ขึ้นเหล่าอีก 5 ปี กว่าจะสอบผ่านเป็นศิษย์การบินและจบมา ไม่ใช่เรื่องง่ายเลย ไม่ใช่เฉพาะตัวเอง แต่รวมถึงครอบครัวด้วย บางคนไม่ผ่านเป็นศิษย์การบินก็ต้องไปทำหน้าที่อื่น ซึ่งทุกๆคนมีส่วนช่วยปกป้องประเทศในหน้าที่บทบาทของตนเอง เครื่องบินขึ้นไปสู้ไม่สามารถเกิดขึ้นได้ด้วยนักบินคนเดียวครับ อยากให้เชิ
