When I served my engineering apprenticeship in the 50's every workshop, I worked in was steampunk.

This is great, I love the Steampunk aesthetic. There’s something strangely comforting and yet enjoyably weird about it. Studio Ghibli animations quite often use it to good effect, and I always thought the first Hellboy film had a gorgeous Steampunk angle to it.
