Really interesting analysis, and I think you pick up on real gender dynamics in *Sicario*, especially how Kate is isolated, undermined, and used inside a male power structure. really interesting video. my first thought when finishing the movie was "she didnt do anything!" and the entire time i noticed the weird framing but the careful and deliberate filmaking didn't seem like a simple sexist story. all the little things, like how her lack of family contrasts so strongly with all the men's devotion to it. thank you for helping to put some of the pieces together!
